ONE-POT CREAMY GARLIC NOODLES
Ingredients:
- 125g low calorie, Slendier noodles, well rinsed
- 150g boneless chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon butter (7g)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 100ml almond milk
- 45g low-fat parmesan cheese
- 20g fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Slice the chicken breast in half, season with paprika, salt, pepper, and grill each side for 4-5 minutes. Shred and keep aside.
- Meanwhile, cook the noodles according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, heat butter over medium heat.
- Then add garlic and cook for about a minute.
- Next add milk, noodles, shredded chicken, salt and pepper, and basil. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Once boiled, reduce heat to a simmer stirring occasionally for 5-10 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan when noodle is cooked and add a little milk if necessary to reach your desired consistency.
