OATS STRING HOPPERS
Ingredients:
- 45g oats
- 50g White rice flour
- 120ml Hot water, as required
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Dry roast the oats until crispy. Then pulse them in a blender to get a fine powder. Now add the white rice flour to the oats with a pinch of salt.
- Once everything is incorporated add the hot water gradually and mix the ingredients to a dough. Add water until you form a smooth dough (remember when the dough is hot it’s easier to pipe).
- Now take your string hopper mold and put the dough in batches and pipe them onto the molds.
- Steam the string hoppers for about 10 minutes or until done.
