BAKED CHICKEN PARMESAN
Ingredients:
- 150g boneless white meat (chicken breast, turkey breast, lean pork)
- 30g Egg Whites
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin Olive Oil (7g)
- 30g panko bread crumbs
- 30g Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoon Pasta Sauce
- 30g low fat mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 20g spring onions to serve
Instructions:
- Take out your Chicken Breast, and cut thin slices and season with salt and pepper.
- In one smaller bowl add in your Egg Whites and Olive Oil and mix.
- In another large bowl add in your Bread Crumbs and Parmesan Cheese and mix.
- Take out a baking sheet, coat it with some non-stick cooking spray, and put your Chicken Breast onto your baking sheet.
- Lightly brush your wet mix onto both sides of your Chicken Breast slices.
- Dunk them into your dry mix.
- Coat the top of your Chicken Breast with some non-stick cooking spray.
- Put them into the oven on 450F/232C for 20 minutes.
- Take the tray out, flip the chicken over, and evenly distribute your Pasta Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese over the top of the chicken.
- Put the tray back into the oven on 450F/232C for another 5-10 minutes (or until the cheese is melted)
- You can also use the air fryer instead of the oven.
